These are cumulative release notes. If a release does not appear in this section, then there were no associated new features and enhancements.

Ivanti Email+ app features and enhancements

  • ActiveSync 16 updated: ActiveSync 16 is now enabled by default. For more information, see ActiveSync16 for Android devices.

  • Support for attachments added to the Calendar events: You can now add, remove, and view attachments to the Calendar event in the Email+ app. This feature is supported only when EAS16 and EWS are enabled. For more information, see Calendar attachments.

Ivanti Email+ administrator features and enhancements

  • eas_16 enabled by default: The eas_16 value is now enabled by default. The eas_16 value is removed from Optional features and added to Disabled features restriction.

Ivanti Email+ app features and enhancements

  • Migration from Azure Active Directory Authentication Library (ADAL) to Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL): The Email+ Android app migrates from ADAL to MSAL to support Microsoft Conditional Access.

Ivanti Email+ administrator features and enhancements

  • Replaced email exchange username with email address restriction: The Email+ app now uses email address restriction for authentication instead of email exchange username restriction. This is updated because the Microsoft Azure Active Directory Authentication Library (ADAL) is now deprecated and replaced with Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL). Use same values for both email address and email exchange username restrictions when upgrading to Email+ 5.0.0.

  • New restrictions added: New restriction MSAL Client Id and MSAL Resource Scope are added:

    • MSAL Client Id: Replaces the default application ID used by Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) with a custom value.

    • MSAL Resource Scope: Defines the resource scopes required by Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) to acquire access tokens for protected resources.

  • New restrictions added: New restriction MSAL Client Id and MSAL Resource Scope are added:

    • MSAL Client Id: Replaces the default application ID used by Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) with a custom value.

    • MSAL Resource Scope: Defines the resource scopes required by Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) to acquire access tokens for protected resources.

    These fields are optional and will be enabled starting with the Email+5.0.0 release.

Ivanti Email+ app features and enhancements

  • Support for Android 16: The Email+ app now supports Android 16 - Beta 4.1.
  • Enhanced folder search: A new search icon is added to the All Folders screen to locate folders when moving emails from the inbox to other mailboxes (Primary, Secondary, Delegated, or Shared Mailboxes).
  • Support for resizing an image: The Email+ app now allows resizing of high resolution image files based on the image's pixel dimensions. The following resize options are available:
    • Small (320p)
    • Medium (720p)
    • Large (1280p)
    • Actual Size

      No modification is done as it used the original image.

  • Support for 3-Day calendar view : The Calendar tab, now displays 3-Day calendar view as a default setting on the first launch after installation.

This release does not include new administrator features and enhancements.
