Configuring Data Purging

You can:

•

Configure the number of data indexes to retain.

•

Purge reports older than a specified number of days.

•

Purge alerts older than a specified number of days.

•

Purge data on demand.

The default purge scheduler runs once a week, over the weekend, and ensures that the number of indexes retained matches the Number of data indexes to retain value.

Configuring Data Purging

To configure data purging:

1.

Click Settings.

2.

Click Data Purge.

3.

Configure the purge settings. An index contains a week worth of data. The more indexes you retain, the more disk space is needed.

4.

Click Apply.

Purging Data On Demand

To purge data on demand, access the Data Purge page as described in Configuring Data Purging, and then click Run.
