Setting up the MTD threat management console

You can configure server-initiated multi-tier mitigation and compliance for managed Ivanti Go client devices through the MTD threat management console. It is a best practice to apply server-initiated policies in parallel with local action policies for best coverage.

Due to limitations in the Zimperium Application Programming Interface (API), some features in the MTD management portal (also known as the zConsole) are not yet supported.

Before proceeding, perform the following tasks:

• Delete old custom attributes
• Delete old custom policies
• Delete old device groups
• Retire previously registered devices

• Creating Ivanti Mobile Threat Defense custom attributes
• Creating compliance policy rules and device groups
• Creating the MTD console Threat Response Matrix
• Defining a custom DNS server
