Configuring a MTD privacy policy

While there is a default privacy policy in use, you will need to create a second privacy policy specifically for MTD device users.

Before you begin

Procedure 

1. In the Ivanti Neurons for MDM administrator console, go to the Configurations tab.

2. Select Add.

3. Select Privacy.

4. Name the privacy configuration; Ivanti suggests using MTD_privacy.

5. In the Configuration Setup section, select Collect Location Data.

6. In the Collect App Inventory section, select For All apps on the device.

7. Select Next.

8. Select Device Groups and then select the Device Groups tab.

9. Select to distribute the privacy policy to the devices that will be activated with MTD. (Select only the devices that you are distributing the activation configuration to.)

10. Select Done.
