Changing the database user's password

Ivanti recommends allowing HTTPS traffic on port 8443 from the corporate network, limited to Ivanti applications only. This service is intended for Ivanti EPMM Reporting Database and must have strictly controlled access. All Reporting Databases have the same default credentials to start. Therefore, we recommend changing the password for the default Reporting Database user:

Procedure 

1. Log into the Reporting Database System Manager at:
   https://<RDB SERVER>:8443/mics/mics.html
2. Go to Settings > Reporting Database.
3. Select Actions > Edit Preferences.
4. Click Change Password.
5. In the Database User Password field, enter the new password you want to set.
6. Enter at least 8 characters.
7. In Database User Confirm Password field, re-enter the password.

8. Click Apply.
