Resolved issues

These are cumulative release notes. If a release does not appear in this section, then there were no associated resolved issues.

  • 1279557: Previously, when the Administrator unblocked the app, the critical error notifications from the PacketTunnel and AppProxy extensions related to the app block did not disappear automatically. This issue is now fixed.
  • IAVPN- 2439: When the system triggers Ivanti Tunnel application, it waits for the Ivanti Tunnel app to connect to the VPN server and configure Ivanti Tunnel network settings before signaling readiness. Previously, if the internet connection dropped during this process, the app incorrectly reported readiness, preventing a retry once the connection was restored. This issue is now fixed.
  • IAVPN-2424: Previously, the Tunnel app would sometimes get stuck in the 'Connecting' state while switching between the Wi-Fi networks. This issue has now been fixed.
  • IAVPN-2423: Previously, if the VPN encountered network connection issue in the background, the Tunnel app would display 'No Internet Connection' error message on the next launch. This resulted in the app sometimes showing the banner after the connection issue is resolved. This issue has now been fixed. The banner is shown only when the Tunnel app encounters connection issue in the foreground.
  • IAVPN-2419: The Tunnel AppProxy network extension no longer closes the connection on receiving zero length packet from remote server if the DisableClosingConnectionOnReadFlowEnd KVP is set to true.

  • IAVPN-2414: Tunnel for iOS VPN switch button in some cases was not updated properly if there were more than one VPN configuration. This issue is now fixed.

  • IAVPN-2387: UDP traffic was getting tunneled in IOS- App Proxy mode for Per-App VPN, leading to exceed in memory limit. This issue is fixed by introducing the SplitUDPPortlist key-value pair in the App-Proxy mode.   • IAVPN-2382: Fixed the memory leak issue in the iOS App-Proxy.

  • IAVPN-2361: Previously, when switching from one network to another, the DNS network settings were required to be updated everytime. This issue is now fixed.

  • IAVPN-2352: Previously, the first connection initiated by Safari was cancelled. This issue is now fixed.
    The "AdvanceDNSSetUpKey=true" Key Value Pair and a DNS resolver IP address must be added.

  • IAVPN-1928: Previously, for Per App Proxy, Ivanti Tunnel application was reading application data instead of reading only STCache header response from Sentry.
    The issue is now fixed.

  • IAVPN-1943: Previously, Split Tunnel cache became obsolete after changing server configuration.
    This fixes the Core to Ivanti Neurons for MDM migration.

  • IAVPN-2075: Previously, Ivanti Tunnel crashed when accessing the internal sites through Tunnel.
    This issue is now fixed.

  • IAVPN-1915: Previously, Ivanti Tunnel crashed when Microsoft Teams could not reconnect through Tunnel after a network switch.
    This issue is now fixed.

  • IAVPN-1897: Fixed an issue due to which Ivanti Tunnel crashed.
  • IAVPN-1753: SplitUDPPortList was not honoring the value if it has less than or equal to 2 characters.
    This issue is now fixed.

  • IAVPN-1657: Previously, Ivanti Tunnel did not route localhost traffic if Wifi was turned off on the device.
    This issue is now fixed. Now, Ivanti Tunnel drops the connection, allowing normal connections to work.
