Known issues

For known issues found in previous releases, see the "Known issues" section in the release notes for those releases.

This release includes the following known issues.

  • AW-61163: Windows devices cannot connect to managed WiFi using the Microsoft Network Device Enrollment Service (NDES) Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP).

AW-59231: Cloud's Users > Users > Filters > Administrators list is missing the API and USER filter values.

AW-58876: Cloud erroneously displays the Set App Install Priority field on the Apps > App Catalog > App Configurations > App Configurations Summary > Install on device page for MIP (MobileIron Packager macOS app) apps. This field is not functional in release 79 for MIP apps.

  • AW-58756: Cloud is unable to view or add Windows Store apps from Apps > App Catalog > +Add > Windows Store.

  • AW-58130: Cloud cannot retire HoloLens 2 devices that have registered using Windows Autopilot Self-Deploying mode.

  • AW-57460: The AirPlay configuration's Device Settings field does not retain updated Device Name values.

  • AW-57234: Delegated apps distributed to device groups across different spaces do not appear in their respective categories in the App Catalog on devices belonging to custom spaces.

  • AW-57169: Cloud fails to install the Windows Hello for Business configuration on HoloLens devices just after enrollment if this configuration is assigned to All Windows devices before enrollment. Cloud cannot install the configuration before the device provides the "OS Build version" to the system.

Workaround: Disable or delete the Windows Hello for Business configuration assigned to HoloLens devices, and then add, assign, and enable it after enrollment when the system displays the "OS Build Version" data from the HoloLens devices.

  • AW-56930: Admin > Certificate Management > Issued Certificates > Export to CSV only exports up to 10,000 rows of data, even when there more than 10,000 issued certificates in the system.

  • AW-56900: The string, "Display warning for App Versions limits" is not localized.

  • AW-56448: Android Zebra devices reporting an Android Security Patch Level string longer than 40 characters (for example, "2018-08-05 (Critical Patch Level:2020-11-01)) fail to register to Cloud.

  • AW-20885: Due to incorrect conversion from kilobytes to gigabytes, Cloud displays storage capacity values for Android devices higher than the values reported by the devices.
