New Features Summary

These are cumulative release notes. If a release does not appear in this section then there were no associated new features and enhancements.

  • Support for Nutanix AHV Hypervisor: Ivanti Cloud Connector now supports Nutanix AHV Hypervisor, in addition to VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V. You can deploy or migrate Ivanti Cloud Connector to a Nutanix AHV environment. For more information, see Connector Requirements.

  • Support for IPv6: Ivanti Cloud Connector now supports IPv6, enabling communication across IPv6-based internal network infrastructure. For more information, see Using the Configuration Wizard.

    To enable IPv6 in Ivanti Cloud Connector, you must re-run the configuration setup after upgrade. Else, deploy a new Ivanti Cloud Connector instance.

  • Support for the latest Hyper-V versions: Ivanti Cloud Connector now supports Hyper-V on Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, and Windows Server 2025. For more information, see Connector Requirements.

  • Support added for Azure: Ivanti Cloud Connector now supports deployment in Microsoft Azure, in addition to AWS and on-premises environments. For more information, see Ivanti Cloud Connector Installation on Microsoft Azure.

  • Support for ESXi 8.0: Starting with this release, Ivanti Cloud Connector now supports ESXi 8.0.

  • Fresh installation: Do a fresh installation of Ivanti Neurons for MDM Connector since CentOS 7 is end of life (EOL) and will use Oracle Linux 8.

  • Security fix: The current release provides important security features and is recommended for all users.

  • AW-75714: Ivanti Neurons for MDM Connector supports the functionality of having the user's Security Descriptor (SID) available in certificates issued by the on-premise non-SCEP Certificate Authority as a certificate extension.

  • AW-75713: Ivanti Neurons for MDM Connector supports the functionality of having the user's Security Descriptor (SID) available in certificates issued by the on-premise SCEP Certificate Authority as a certificate extension.

  • AW-75712: Ivanti Neurons for MDM Connector now supports Kerberos authentication with Microsoft SCEP servers.

  • AW-75711: Ivanti Neurons for MDM Connector will start syncing the LDAP user's Security Descriptor (SID) during LDAP server sync.
