Deleting devices

After you retire a device, you can delete it. Deleting it removes it from all pages. You can delete a device only if its status is Retired, Retire Pending, Wiped, or Wipe Pending.

Procedure

1. Go to Devices > Devices.
2. Navigate to the device.
3. Click the link in the Name column.
4. Click the Delete Device link (left pane).
5. Read the displayed warning.
6. If you still want to delete the device, select the check box to confirm.
7. Click Delete.

Deleting multiple devices

You can delete multiple devices by selecting all the devices you want to delete.

Procedure

1. Go to Devices > Devices.
2. Select the devices from the available device list.
3. Click Actions tab, under the Common heading select the Delete Devices option.
4. On the Delete Device(s) window:
   1. Select the I understand that Delete cannot be reversed check box.
   2. Click on Delete valid device(s), to delete the selected devices.
