Preview features available in Sandbox tenants

This section lists the features currently available ONLY on the Ivanti Neurons for MDM sandbox instance. The Ivanti Neurons for MDM sandbox instances are available to Enterprise Users by default. You can access these features from the N-MDM sandbox instance and provide any feedback you have about such features.

This section contains the Sandbox-only features for the following releases:

Current Release - R116

• Support for App Management for watchOS: watchOS platform public, Apps & Books (VPP) application management is now supported in Ivanti Neurons for MDM. 

  Known limitations:

  • App Configurations Summary > Apple App Settings > 'Allow removal and offloading of this app' is not available.

  • App Configurations Summary > Install on device > 'Enable MDM App Auto-Updates (checkbox)' is not supported.

  • Apps > App Catalog > watchOS app > Details > watchOS logo is not displayed.

  • Support for converting unmanaged apps to managed apps is not available for watchOS.

  • App Configurations Summary > Promotion — Hide Promotion and Review options are not applicable.

  • App Configurations Summary > 'Per App VPN' is not applicable.

• Application updates enhancements: To ensure accurate app version detection on Apple devices, ExternalVersionIdentifier is now used for version checks and comparisons. This enhancement replaces the previously used HasUpdateAvailable flag, which was reporting incorrect values.
