Files

Applicable to: macOS devices

The Ivanti Neurons for MDM allows users with System Management role to create or upload, and manage files used for configuring and distributing to devices.

Procedure

1. Go to Admin > Scripts and Files > Files.
2. In the Files page, click + Add.
3. In the Create File window, enter the following details:
   1. In the Name field, enter a name to identify the file.

   2. In the Description field, enter a description that clarifies the purpose of this file.

   3. In the Upload File pane, click Choose a file to upload the .zip file. Alternatively, you can drag and drop a file from your device.

4. Click Save.

   The newly added file appears on the Files page.

Editing a file

1. Go to Admin > Scripts and Files > Files.

2. Select the file that you want to edit and click Edit.

   The Edit File window appears.

3. (optional) You can edit the Name and Description fields.

4. In the Upload File pane, click Choose a different file to upload the .zip file. Alternatively, you can drag and drop a file from your device.

5. Click Update.

Deleting a file

To delete the existing Files, navigate to Admin > Scripts and Files > Files, select all the files that you want to delete and click + Delete.

If the File(s) is associated with a configuration, Ivanti Neurons for MDM will display a Warning message, “File cannot be deleted as it is being used by other policies.”
