Intelligence Settings

Use the Intelligence Settings to configure Apple Intelligence settings on supervised devices. This declaration helps administrators apply consistent, policy-based controls that manage how devices access and use Apple Intelligence features.

Applicable to:

  • iOS 26.4+ Supervised through the most recently released version as supported by Ivanti Neurons for MDM.

  • macOS 26.4+ Supervised through the most recently released version as supported by Ivanti Neurons for MDM.

  • visionOS 26.4+ Supervised through the most recently released version as supported by Ivanti Neurons for MDM.

Procedure

  1. Go to Configurations > +Add.
  2. Search and select the Intelligence Settings configuration.

  3. Configure the Intelligence Settings settings as per the following table:

    Name

    Enter a name that identifies this configuration.

    Description

    Enter a description that clarifies the purpose of this configuration.

    Allow Apple Intelligence Report

    Select the checkbox to enable Apple Intelligence Report.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Apple Intelligence Report on supervised devices.

    Allow Genmoji

    Select the checkbox to enable Genmoji.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Genmoji on supervised devices.

    Allow Image Playground

    Select the checkbox to enable Image Playground.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Image Playground on supervised devices.

    Allow Image Wand

    Select the checkbox to enable Image Wand.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Image Wand on supervised devices.

    This setting is not applicable for macOS devices.

    Allow Personalized Handwriting Results Wand

    Select the checkbox to enable Personalized Handwriting Results Wand.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Personalized Handwriting Results Wand on supervised devices.

    This setting is not applicable for macOS and visionOS devices.

    Allow Visual Intelligence Summary

    Select the checkbox to enable Visual Intelligence Summary.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Visual Intelligence Summary on supervised devices.

    This setting is not applicable for macOS and visionOS devices.

    Allow Writing Tools

    Select the checkbox to enable Writing Tools.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Writing Tools on supervised devices.

    Force On-Device Only Dictation

    Select the checkbox to enable On-Device Only Dictation.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable On-Device Only Dictation on supervised devices.

    Force On-Device Only Translation

    Select the checkbox to enable On-Device Only Translation.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable On-Device Only Translation on supervised devices.

    This setting is not applicable for macOS and visionOS devices.

    Allow Smart Replies

    Select the checkbox to enable Smart Replies.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Smart Replies on supervised devices.

    Allow Summary

    Select the checkbox to enable Summary.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Summary on supervised devices.

    Notes

    Allow Transcription

    Select the checkbox to enable Transcription.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Transcription on supervised devices.

    This setting is not applicable for visionOS devices.

    Allow Transcription Summary

    Select the checkbox to enable Transcription Summary.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Transcription Summary on supervised devices.

    This setting is not applicable for visionOS devices.

    Safari

    Allow Summary

    Select the checkbox to enable Summary.

    Toggle the Push to Device button to enable Summary on supervised devices.
  4. Click Next to configure the distribution settings.
  5. Select one of the distribution options to set up the Intelligence Settings configuration. For more information about configuring distribution options, see Working with Configurations.
  6. Click Done.
