Here is an example of a mini-TOC proxy:

When there are many sections in a chapter, or they are changing frequently, you may prefer to use the mini-ToC proxies now that they are configured correctly. Try to be consistent throughout the book.

Lists within a table for MI styles

Here are some tags to help with lists within tables. You can also use the "tight" line spacing (li.tight) with small lists that look ridiculous spaced out so much. Or sometimes a secondary list inside a task. Those kinds of situations. It is most helpful fitting tables into PDF pages.

To use this li.tight tag, you must meeting the following conditions:

  1. You must be in Print layout mode to even see the style.

  2. If your list has paragraph tags in it, you will need to remove them.

    1. Select the lines in your list (not the list element itself).

    2. With the lines selected, go to Home > Paragraph > List Actions drop-down menu.

    3. Select Make Simple Items. The paragraph tags should be gone.

  3. With the lines still selected, click li.tight from the Styles menu to tighten the space between list items.
