11.3.0.0 New features and enhancements
This guide documents the following new features and enhancements.
General features and enhancements
-
Core Password Policy lockout times modified: The lockout time for users who enter incorrect Core authentication has been modified:
- In Core release 11.3.0.0 and higher, Auto-Lock Time range valid values are 0 seconds through 21 days in seconds, minutes, hours, or days, with a default value of 5 minutes.
- In releases prior to Core 11.3.0.0, the Auto-Lock Time range valid values were 0 through 3600 seconds (60 minutes), with a default value of 30 seconds.
Core lockout time configuration settings are available from the Admin console Settings > System Settings > Password Policy page.
Be sure that the Auto-Lock time is set to a higher value than the LDAP Active Directory (AD) Account lockout policy > Account lockout duration value, to avoid the Core user account being locked out before the LDAP user account is locked out. For information on these values, see Local user password complexity enforcement details.
