Setting Enterprise Connector preferences

After you have added at least one Enterprise Connector, you can set Connector default preferences.

Preference choices affect all Connectors; they cannot be individually configured.

Before you begin 

Complete Adding Enterprise Connector entries before setting preferences.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Admin portal.
  2. Select Services > Connector.
  3. Click the Preferences link to open the Preferences menu.

    1. Connector Services: Click Enable. When enabled, services communicate through Connectors instead of directly communicating with their respective servers.

      Connector Services must be enabled for Ivanti EPMM to use Enterprise Connector for Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) queries.

    2. Status Reporting Interval: Set an interval time between 1-59 minutes, or leave the default 15 minutes.

    3. LDAP Timeout: Set a timeout value between 1 and 3600 seconds, or leave the default 25 minutes.

    4. LDAP Request Retries: Leave the default number of retries (1) or set this value to 0 to disable LDAP request retries. Do not set this value to other than 1 or 0 without explicit direction from Ivanti Support or a knowledge-based article.

    5. LDAP Test Timeout: Leave this value at 25 seconds. Do not change this value without explicit direction from Ivanti Support or a knowledge-based article.

    6. LDAP Request Batch Size: Leave this value at 100 per LDAP batch request. Do not change this value without explicit direction from Ivanti Support or a knowledge-based article.

  4. When done, click Save. A pop-up message confirms the save.
