Creating MTD label and device custom attribute

You need to create one label and one device custom attribute that will be applied to both Android and iOS devices. In the following procedure, create label and device custom attribute.

Procedure

1. In the EPMM, go to Devices & Users -> Labels -> Add Label.

2. Select Add Label.

3. Create the following Manual label:

   Ivanti MTD Enrolled - This label is used by the MTD management console to identify devices that need to have the MTD service enabled. The label is assigned by Ivanti EPMM when MTD is activated on the device.

4. Go to Settings -> Users & Devices -> Custom Attributes.

5. Create the following custom attribute using String value type:

   IvantiMTDThreatLevel - This custom attribute is set by the MTD management console to communicate to Ivanti MDM the severity of the threats on the device. Note that the Value Type field needs to be set to String.
