MTD prerequisites

Before you set up MTD, complete the following prerequisites:

1. Obtain a MTD console tenant license from third-party vendor Lookout.

2. For both iOS and Android Ivanti Mobile Threat Defense implementations, contact your Ivanti Mobile Threat Defense representative to request your unique Ivanti MTD enrollment code, or retrieve it from the MTD console.

   You must purchase an Ivanti Mobile Threat Defense license from an Ivanti MTD partner. Lookout licenses purchased from other sources are not valid for activation.

3. Ensure that the correct Ivanti Mobile@Work client apps are installed for devices on which you want Ivanti Mobile Threat Defense to run.
