Enabling additional MTD anti-phishing protection
You have the option to enable additional Ivanti Mobile Threat Defense anti-phishing protections for managed Android and iOS devices.
These additional anti-phishing configurations can be used in conjunction with Threat Management Console anti-phishing policies.
-
Log in to Ivanti EPMM Admin Portal.
-
Go to Policy & Configs > Policies.
-
Click Add New.
-
Creating an MTD anti-phishing policy Select MTD Anti-Phishing. The Add MTD Anti-Phishing Policy page opens.
-
In the Add MTD Anti-Phishing Policy dialog box, enter a name for the policy.
-
Select the MTD provider Lookout.
-
Add Description.
-
In the iOS section, select to enable Secure DNS setting. Ensure your iOS device users manually enable Secure DNS settings, otherwise the iOS client will not update the Anti-Phishing status in the MDM server.
-
In the Android section, select to enable Secure DNS setting.
If the Ivanti Tunnel App is installed, Anti-Phishing for Android will be provided by Ivanti Tunnel. If the Ivanti Tunnel App is not installed, Anti-Phishing will be provided through the Ivanti Mobile@work client app.
-
Save the policy.
Only one active policy can be applied to a device.
-
Select the MTD Anti-phishing policy created above.
-
Select Actions->Apply to label to apply the policy to the desired groups of devices
Devices with Anti-Phishing enabled report Anti Phishing status to MDM. The administrator can use this status to create custom policies, if needed.
