ISAC deployment on Intune

  1. On ICS server, navigate to Users → Ivanti Secure Client → Components. Create the component set and connection set. Download the machine config.
  2. Change to base 64 using value from <>.pulsepreconfig file, create configuration in below format and convert to Base64 encode format:
    Example: url=<x.x.x.x> ;connection-identity=machine;connection-policy=automatic;server-id=VASPH93XSZMVI1VTS;machine-guid=70955671-eccc-40ca-9920-89bf3fa14431;ive-guid=e125be82-d4c3-475d-8652-d1df0ca6ed36;dynamic-trust=false

    3. Note: All other settings can be retained as is. Ensure the mentioned settings are set.

  3. Navigate to Users →UserRole, select the role, navigate to VPN Tunneling page. Select Ivanti Secure Acccess Client Settings page. From the drop-down select the component set created.
  4. Login to https://endpoint.microsoft.com/, navigate to apps.
  5. Go to Apps → Windows → Add. Select App type as, "Line-of-business" and upload the Ivanti secure client msi file (64-bit).
  6. In the Command-Line arguments field, add the <>.pulsepreconfig file content.
  7. Add the user group to which your user belongs and create the application. Save configuration. See, Azure configuration on Intune section.
