Provisioning Ivanti Policy Secure with Predefined Configuration

The Ivanti Policy Secure Virtual Appliance can be provisioned on Azure with a pre-defined Ivanti Policy Secure configuration. The provisioning can be done in the following two ways:

• Ivanti Policy Secure administrator needs to provide the location of the XML-based configuration as a provisioning parameter. Refer ‘Ivanti Policy Secure Provisioning Parameters’ for details about the Ivanti Policy Secure specific provisioning parameters.

Ivanti Policy Secure configuration can be kept on Azure VM or on a machine located in the corporate network. If it is in the corporate network, the Ivanti Policy Secure administrator needs to ensure that site-to-site VPN between Azure to corporate network is already established so that Ivanti Policy Secure can access the machine located in the corporate network.

• Ivanti Policy Secure administrator provides the configuration data encoded in the base64 encoded xml in the ARM template.
