System Operations

On the AWS portal, select AWS Services > Launch Instance. From the Actions menu, select Instance State.

  • Click Start to start a VM.
  • Click Stop to stop the VM.
  • Click Restart to restart the VM.
  • Click Terminate to terminate the VM.
