Securing the Connection State on Ivanti Secure Access Client

To disable user interaction with Ivanti Secure Access Client connections on the endpoint, you can configure Ivanti Secure Access Client Connections so that when they are deployed to the endpoint, users cannot shut down a connection, suspend or resume a connection, or shut down Ivanti Secure Access Client. Disabling user interaction with Ivanti Secure Access Client enables the administrator to control how endpoints connect to the network without allowing the user to override administrative control. For example, if you use machine authentication, the connection from endpoint to server is established automatically. By locking down the Ivanti Secure Access Client endpoint, users cannot change their connection.

To secure the Ivanti Secure Access Client endpoint:

1.Click Users > Ivanti Secure Access Client > Connections.

2.Edit or create a new connection.

3.Disable the check box labeled Allow user to override connection policy.
