Deploying Applications Using Intune

Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based enterprise mobility management (EMM) service that helps you to enable your workforce to be productive while keeping your corporate data protected.

Using Intune, you can:

•Manage the mobile devices your workforce uses to access company data.

•Manage the mobile apps your workforce uses.

•Protect your company’s information by helping to control the way your workforce accesses and shares it.

•Ensure mobile devices and apps are compliant with company security requirements.

This section helps administrators to deploy MS Intune and ICS to work together. For L3 VPN secure access, VPN tunnelling must be configured in ICS server.

When the user installs the MDM application on the device and completes enrolment, the MDM pushes the device certificate to the device. After enrolment, the MDM maintains a database record that includes information about the attributes related to device identity, user identity, and posture assessment against MDM policies.
