Beginning with Release 21.4 and later, you cannot create a bootable USB drive.

Resource Requirements

Virtual appliances should be allocated a minimum of 2GB of RAM. Virtual appliances running Pulse Secure Virtual Web Application Firewall should be allocated a minimum of 4GB of RAM.

For a virtual appliance upgrade to succeed, a minimum of 8GB must be available on the /logs partition. To confirm the available free disk space, use the System > Traffic Managers page of the Admin UI.
