Supported Encodings

Some handlers that perform response filtering look at the HTML body. Depending on the web server, the HTML body may use different encodings, which vWAF must be able to interpret correctly.

• Currently vWAF supports the following encodings:

• ISO-8859-15
• UTF-8
• UTF-16-BE
• ASCII
• HEX
• BIG5
• GB2312
• IDNA
• SHIFT_JIS
