Version Control setting

At Setup > Global Settings, you can define the general settings of your Ivanti Automation environment, and the default settings of Dispatchers and Agents.

Version Control
Use automatic versioning	Specifies whether or not versions of objects should be increased automatically, without user interaction. When set to Yes, the revision number will be increased automatically. When set to No, the Version Control window becomes available when saving changes to Modules, Projects, Run Books and Resources.
Version comment	Specifies whether a version comment is mandatory when updating an object. When set to Disabled, the comment cannot be edited and will be set to “Updated version.” When set to Optional, a comment is optional and may be empty. When selected, the new Version Control window becomes available when saving changes to Modules, Projects, Run Books and Resources. When set to Mandatory, a comment has to be specified. When selected, the new Version Control window becomes available when saving changes to Modules, Projects, Run Books and Resources.
