Configuration
- Use the drop down field to customize the number of Jobs that are shown per page.
- Use the navigation buttons to browse through the various pages.
- When Auto-Refresh is selected, only page one of the Job history will be refreshed automatically.
- Search for a specific Job by pressing CTRL+F. Press F3 for the next result.
- The column Who shows which Agents or Teams executed a Job. If this was a Run Book Job, this column shows See details. The details show which Run Book Job was executed by which Agent.
- The column Job invoker shows who triggered the Team. If the Job was triggered by a Team, this usually means that the Job was performed because a Team member was added to or removed from the Team.
- To reschedule a Job, right-click it and click Reschedule Job. Besides rescheduling Jobs, you can also reapply the Job history of an Agent or Team to another Agent or Team.
- To export the Job results to XML, select the relevant Job(s) in the Job History node, right-click the selection and choose Export Results.
- Alternatively, you can export and/or delete Job history by scheduling a Task Export Ivanti Automation Results and/or a Task Delete Ivanti Automation Results.
- Click View to view the details of a Job, in the Job window.
- To filter the entire Job History based on the same table headers present in the Job History view, right-click and click Filter, or use the Filter toolbar button. There are some filtering capabilities in the Job History view also, but those apply only to the entries from the current page, while this new filtering will apply to the entire Job History. Use the Filter Job History dialog box to create the filter criteria you want, and click OK. Job History data can be unfiltered by clearing the current filter with the Filter toolbar button.
-
Combine the filter criteria as needed and click OK to view the filtered entries. Open the filter window again to refine the filter criteria. Job History data can be unfiltered by clearing the current filter.
- To anonymize log history content for GDPR or other reasons, right-click and click GDPR. You can then search for and replace strings you specify. For more information, see General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) search and replace.
Properties tab of the Job window
- If a Job was triggered by a Team or a Run Book, or if it is part of a recurring Job, a button Show Job Invoker is shown, which allows you to jump to the relevant Team, Run Book or Recurring Job.
- The button Show Job Invoker on the Properties tab is only shown if your administrative role allows you to view the node Jobs > Scheduling node or Topology > Teams.
Please note, that for Jobs that were Scheduled using Cron, the button is only available if the cron schedule has not yet expired. - If your administrative role allows you to view the Teams node, but not the Team that triggered the Job, the button Show Job Invoker will be shown, but no Job invoker details will be shown when you click this button.
- The button Show Job Invoker on the Properties tab is only shown if your administrative role allows you to view the node Jobs > Scheduling node or Topology > Teams.
Tasks tab
- Use the Tasks tab to view which Agents performed the Task(s).
- For query results, the option Hide Similarities is shown, which is useful if you want to compare results for several Agents. For example, if you scheduled a Query Installed Programs on multiple Agents, you can hide all similar programs in its Job history and so view only the differences between the Agents. Marked similarities will also be shown in an Instant Report of this view.
- To save the results of a query as a TXT file or a CSV file, select click Details. After this, click . Please note that the regional settings of your user account determine the list separator used in the CSV file. This setting is stored in the registry value of the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\sList.
Agents tab
- Use the Agents tab to view which Tasks were performed per Agent. This is useful when you want to view the Task results for a specific Agent in detail.
- In the history of a specific Job, clear the option Show Agents that are marked obsolete for this Job by Snapshot Intelligence to hide Agents for which this Job has become obsolete because the Agent has reverted to a snapshot. This option is also available for query result overviews per Task.
- The Job history is not affected when you change or delete Modules, Projects or Run Books; only when you change or delete Resources.
- Because of database changes, the Job History will become unavailable if you downgrade from Ivanti Automation 2015 to a lower version. Please consider exporting the Job History prior to downgrading. Should you decide to upgrade once again after downgrading, the entire Job History will be available again.
