Prerequisites

The following prerequisites are necessary before configuring Workspace Control with Azure capabilities:

Azure User Settings Integration Requirements

Before configuring Workspace Control to save user settings to the Azure blob storage, ensure that the following requirements are met:

.NET Framework 4.7.2 is required to install Workspace Control 2021.1.
Ivanti Workspace Control 2021.1 is installed on all Agents in your environment.
The Workspace Control Console is updated to version 2021.1.
In the Workspace Control Console, under Composition > User Settings, enable at least one global user setting.

Ensure that under the Properties tab, the Zero Profile mode option for the user setting is set to either Capture targeted items on session end, or Capture targeted items once, then track further changes.
A valid Microsoft Azure subscription.
One of the following types of Azure administrative roles:
- Global administrator
- Application administrator
- Cloud application administrator
The IWC.Azure.UserSettings ZIP file that contains the binaries needed to run the Web Service. The ZIP file is included in the Ivanti Workspace Control installation package that can be downloaded from the Product Downloads section of the Ivanti Community.
