Administrative Workspace Refresh

Administrative workspace refreshes are initiated from outside the Workspace Composer, for instance, through the Workspace Control Console, Ivanti Identity Director Services, or Ivanti Automation.

An administrative workspace refresh can be triggered from a user session by executing the following command from Command Prompt:
%respfdir%\pwrgate.exe -88

The command can be configured as a managed application following these steps:

1. In the Workspace Control Console, navigate to Composition > Applications.

2. Right-click in the Start Menu window and select New Application, or from the top menu, select New > Application.

3. On the Properties > General tab, configure the following fields:

   • Title: Enter a title for the application

   • Command line: %respfdir%\pwrgate.exe

   • Parameters: -88

5. Click OK to create the new managed application.
