Prerequisites

Before enabling Workspace Control to use Edge Intelligence (included in Ivanti Workspace Control version 2020.0 and higher), please make sure you meet the following requirements:

General

Communication with the Neurons Platform uses:

• HTTPS port 443
• MQTT port 8883
• Manifest/distribution server port 8080

If you have firewalls that prevent communication between the Neurons Platform and an Neurons Agent, create a firewall exception for *.ivanticloud.com. For more information about URL and IP address usage, see the following article on Ivanti Community: Ivanti Neurons URL and IP White List.

Console

• The Workspace Control Console must be able to connect to the internet.

Agents

• No previous Neurons Agent must be installed.
• The Workspace Control Agent must be able to connect to the internet.
• TLS 1.2 enabled (on Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012). For details refer to this Microsoft support article.
• .NET Framework 4.7.2 or higher must be installed.

  This is needed for Edge Intelligence Cloud Agents that are installed automatically after you enable the Ivanti Neurons for Edge Intelligence feature.
