Create and edit Applications

To create a new Workspace Control managed application, follow these steps:

1. Open the Workspace Control Console and navigate to the Composition > Applications node.

2. Under the Start Menu tab, open the context menu (right-click) and then select New Application.

   

   The Edit application window appears. In the Edit application window you can review and edit the settings that have been configured for the application.

There are different sections:

• Properties

• Access Control

• Configuration

• User Settings

• Security

• Diagnostics

Some of the above application settings are also available under the Quick Edit option in the application context menu:

• Access Control:

  • Identity

  • Location

  • Date and Time

  • Workspace Control

• Enable/Disable:

  • Enable

  • Disable

• Properties > Intercept

• Publishing:

  • Publish

  • Unpublish
