Major Release 2022.4 10.11.0.0
This section includes new features, compatibility updates, improvements and bug fixes from previous Workspace Control versions, starting with Workspace Control 2022.3 (10.10.10.0) and up to the current version 2022.4 (10.11.0.0).
What's New
Ivanti Ideas Feature Requests
The following user requests have been addressed in this version of Workspace Control:
The feature is currently in Early Access and is under constant development. For more details see MSIX integration for Workspace Control.
Configurations generated by the Ivanti Browser Manager Console can be made available as custom resources on all IWC Agents. For more details, see Workspace Control Administration Guide.
The Sampling mode column was added to the Composition > User Settings > User settings tab. This allows the Console user to see at a glance if applications have the sampling mode enabled or not.
We recommend that you do not keep the sampling mode active for a long time. It generates extra data on Network and Database level and this fills up databases quickly.
In the Edit application window, under Properties > General tab a new field was added: Configuration Item. It has information purpose only, so administrators can add notes. The notes are visible only in this dialog box.
The Configuration item field can be used to correlate an application object in Workspace Control Console with a Configuration Item in an external change management software (e.g. Jira or Topdesk).
New Enhancements and Improvements
The following enhancements and/or improvements are part of this version of Workspace Control:
The IgnoreClientIPAddress and IgnoreServerIPAddress registry keys now support multiple values separated by a semi-colon (;)
Example: 192;10.100;172.16.240
For more details, see IgnoreServerIPAddress and IgnoreClientIPAddress in the IWC Administration Guide.
Various security improvements were made for this version of Ivanti Workspace Control.
After a session is refreshed, the Connection State is determined and displayed in the user Event Log.
