Create and edit UWP Applications

In the Workspace Control Console, under Composition > Applications, UWP applications can now be configured as Workspace Control managed applications. This is done by opening the context menu in the Start Menu tab and then selecting New UWP Application.

In the Edit Application window, you can edit and review various configuration settings for Universal Windows Platform (UWP) applications.

UWP applications are mostly configured in the same way as any Workspace Control managed application. This section covers only the configuration differences present under the Properties > General tab when creating or editing a Workspace Control managed UWP application. It also covers the limitations that apply to managing UWP applications.

For configuring UWP applications as Workspace Control managed applications, the following Microsoft operating systems are supported by Workspace Control:

• Windows 11

• Windows 10

• Windows Server 2022

• Windows Server 2019
