Create the following string value to configure Microsoft Windows dots-per-inch (DPI) scale factor. This is needed for Workspace Control to correctly save desktop icon positions on multi-monitor systems and remote sessions.

The value of the Data field depends on the scale factor configured in Microsoft Windows under Windows Settings > System > Display > Scale and layout > Change the size of text, apps, and other items.
Configure the Data field of the registry string with an appropriate value from the DPI column:

Some limitations in Microsoft Windows prevent Ivanti Workspace Control from correctly restoring the desktop icon positions in the following situations:

If the option Align icons to grid is enabled in Microsoft Windows. For more details, see Desktop icon positions are not retained.

If there are more desktop shortcuts than can be placed in the working area.
