In the Workspace Control Console, under Administration > Performance > CPU Optimization > Settings tab, if CPU Optimization is Enabled, CPU Shield (cpushld.exe) continues to run on all Workspace Control Agents.

Create the following string value for each Workspace Control Agents to prevent CPU Shield from running on the Agents.

To use the CPU Shield, set CPU Optimization to Enabled and remove the registry setting from the Agents.
