DisableDHCP
DHCP servers can be configured in different locations to hold connection information used by Workspace Control Agents to connect to Datastores or Relay Servers available in that location. In an environment with multiple Datastores or Relay Servers, this connection information ensures that mobile Agents, such as laptops, always connect to a Datastore or a Relay Server that is available from their current location. Datastore and Relay Server connection information held by a DHCP server is transferred to all computers that log onto the network governed by that DHCP server.
Without this DHCP configuration, Workspace Control Agents always connect to a fixed, pre-configured Datastore or Relay Server.
Create the following string value to configure Workspace Control Agents to retain their original Datastore and Relay Server connection information, or to use the connection information supplied by the DHCP server.
