New Enhancements and Improvements

The following enhancements and/or improvements are part of this version of Workspace Control:

You can now customize the the time threshold for logging if you have the registry setting LogPerformance set to Yes.

You can now configure the Workspace Control Agent Service to not restart when the Agent is connected to a Relay Server and an IP address change is detected.

You can now configure the following aspects for Relay Server tracing:

  • Level of detail, ranging from 1 (Debug) to 7 (Fatal)

  • Size of the trace file

  • Required remaining percentage of free disk space

Compatibility Updates

The following compatibility updates are part of this version of Workspace Control:

Workspace Control now supports applying a default layout to the pinned area of the Start Menu in MicrosoftWindows 11 and Server 2022.

Deprecation Announcement

As Microsoft no longer supports Windows 8 and 8.1:

  • User Settings Templates for Microsoft Windows 8 have been removed.
  • Lockdown and Behavior descriptions have been updated to no longer mention these Windows versions.

These changes do not affect existing configuration or stored settings.

The Ivanti Cloud Relay has been deprecated. Existing customers have been informed about the end of the service.
