Workspace Control 2024.3 (10.18.40.0)
New Enhancements and Improvements
The following enhancements and/or improvements are part of this version of Workspace Control:

Fresh Installation- Fresh installation now prohibits path selection, restricting installation to the default directory.
Upgrade Installation- A warning is provided when users attempt to upgrade the application from a custom directory, ensuring awareness of potential security risks.
Unattended Installation- There are three scenarios:
-
When a custom path is used for installation, Workspace Control will log an exception in the installation log with an appropriate message and exit the installation process.
-
If a Workspace Control unattended installation is started without a specified path, it will be installed in the default directory.
-
If an incorrect application parameter (other than 'APPDIR') is provided during the installation, Workspace Control will be installed in the default directory.
Auto upgrade- Automatic upgrades will occur without displaying any warning messages.
If Workspace Control has been installed in a custom path, it must be uninstalled. Ivanti recommends installing Workspace Control in the default path and using silent installation for all future builds.
