Ivanti Workspace Control Shell

Ivanti Workspace Control Shell will no longer be supported due to compatibility issues on the following operating systems:

• Desktop OS: Microsoft Windows 11 and higher

• Server OS: Microsoft Server 2022 and higher

This decision is based on how the Operating Systems have evolved during the years. Most of the common issues that is not working in the Ivanti Workspace Control Shell is due to explorer.exe dependencies:

• Microsoft Office 365 licensing

• Microsoft Modern Authentication

• Particulair applications being dependent of explorer.exe being present in the session for creating folder structures with the user profile for instance.

• Microsoft One Drive integration

The option Workspace Control Shell will still be available for combatibility reasons.
