Enabling Secure Communication

There are several connections used by Avalanche that are secured using certificates. They include:

The connection between Android or iOS devices and the smart device server. This step is required if you connect smart devices to Avalanche. Android devices require SSL certificates. iOS devices require SSL certificates and an APNS certificate.

The connection between devices and the remote control servers. This step uses SSL certificates and is required if you use remote control.

The connection between the Avalanche Console and the Central File Store. This step uses SSL certificates and is required if you use the Central File Store.

The connection between the Avalanche Web Console and the Avalanche web server. This step uses SSL certificates and is optional.
