Managing Scan to Configure Profiles

Avalanche allows you to create Scan to Configure Profiles (barcode profiles) that are configured with network settings. You can then print the profiles as barcodes, and a mobile device with an Enabler can scan these barcodes to be configured. Scan to Configure Profiles can configure the network settings, device properties, and registry keys on the device. The length of the barcode is configurable.

Once you have configured your Scan to Config Profile, you can apply that profile to any folder in the Console. When you apply a profile to a folder, the users who have permissions for that folder can make changes as necessary.
