Configuring Enterprise Apps
Many apps in the managed Play Store offer managed configuration. These configurations vary by app, but generally allow you to enter company specific information, such as server URLs or authentication tokens. If managed configuration is available for an app, it will be indicated below the Approve/Buy button in the managed Play Store. After an app is approved, it can be configured using an Avalanche software payload.

To create a managed configuration
1.Approve an app that offers managed configuration in your managed Play Store.
2.In the Avalanche console, navigate to the Payloads tab.
3.Click New Payload in the Available Payloads panel.
4.Select Android Enterprise > Software.
5.Enter a name for the payload.
6.Select the enterprise service account that the payload will be associated with.
7.Under Enterprise App, click Browse to search for and select an approved app.
8.Click Configure.
The Configure Android for Enterprise Application dialog box appears.
9.Click Create new.
10.Enter a descriptive name for the configuration.
11.Configure the options as desired.
12.In the Managed Configuration panel, click Save.
13.Select your configuration from the Configuration drop-down menu.
14.Click Select Configuration.
15.Save the payload.
The new configuration is applied the next time the payload is deployed.
The same configuration can be used for multiple payloads by selecting it from the configuration drop-down menu in the Configure Android for Enterprise Application dialog box. For more information about software payloads, see Software Payload.
To edit a managed configuration
1.In the Avalanche console, navigate to the Payloads tab.
2.Click the name of the software payload you want to edit in the Available Payloads panel.
3.Click Edit.
4.Click Configure.
The Configure Android for Enterprise Application dialog box appears.
5.Select a configuration from the Configuration drop-down menu.
6.Click Edit selected configuration.
7.Configure the options as desired.
8.In the Managed Configuration panel, click Save.
9.Click Select Configuration.
10.Save the payload.
The new configuration is applied the next time the payload is deployed.
