Setting Enterprise App Permissions
Use Avalanche to configure runtime permissions for apps downloaded from the managed Play Store. For each enterprise enrolled with Avalanche, you can set the default access for all permissions, and configure each permission of specific apps.
To set individual permissions for a specific app (recommended method)
1.On the Payloads tab, click New Payload in the Available Payloads panel.
2.Select Android Enterprise > Software.
3.Enter a name for the payload.
4.Select the enterprise service account that the payload will be associated with.
5.Under Enterprise App, click Browse to search for and select an app.
6.Click the Runtime Permissions button.
7.Select Grant, Deny, or Default for each permission. Selecting Default will set the permission to use the enterprise's default permission.
8.Click Save.
9.Save the payload.
The new permission settings are applied the next time the payload is deployed.
Permission settings configured in a software profile will override the enterprise's default runtime permission settings. For more information about software payloads, see Software Payload.
To set an enterprise's default app permission
1.Navigate to Tools > Android Enterprise.
2.Select an enterprise from the list.
3.Click Change Default Runtime Permission.
4.Select one of the following options:
•Allow. Allows all app permissions.
•Deny. Denies all app permissions.
•Prompt. Prompts the user to select Allow or Deny for each permission.
5.Click Save.

The selected default will be applied to all permissions for all apps downloaded from the managed Play Store. However, this setting can be overridden for permissions of specific apps using a software payload.
