Use the Data tab in the Avalanche Update Settings dialog box to configure when data is transferred to the mobile device server.
Data Tab
The following list describes the options in the Data tab:

Transfer Data When Device is Idle |
When this option is enabled, any periodic updates from the server will be postponed until the device has been idle for the specified length of time. This option does not stop real-time statistics from being sent to the server. Default Value: <Disabled> |

Idle Timeout |
The length of time the device must be idle before a periodic update will run. Default Value: 5 minutes |

Allow Wi-Fi transmission |
Indicates whether the device is allowed to transfer statistics using a Wi-Fi connection. Default Value: <Enabled> |

Allow WWAN transmission |
Indicates whether the device is allowed to transfer statistics using a WWAN connection. This is only available for devices with WWAN capability. Default Value: <Disabled> |

Report Interval |
Indicates how frequently the Enabler should report statistics. Default Value: 1 hour |
|
Retransmit After Server Contact |
Indicates whether the device will send real-time statistics to the server immediately following a connection to the server. Default Value: <Disabled> |
