The Windows Enabler is designed to run on desktop computers running Windows. The installer for the Windows Enabler allows you to configure the Enabler during installation. To configure the Windows Enabler after it is installed, click Start > Programs > Wavelink Avalanche > Avalanche Enabler Config. For information on the options available in the Configuration Utility, see Enabler Configuration Utility.
To install:
1 Save the Enabler file to a computer with ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center and double-click the Enabler executable file.
A Welcome dialog box appears.
2 Click Next.
The License Agreement screen appears.
3 Click I Agree to agree to the license agreement and continue installation.
4 The Choose Components screen appears. If you want to configure the Enabler before starting the Enabler service, make sure the Configure the Enabler checkbox is enabled. This will open the Enabler Config Utility before the installation completes. Click Install to install the Enabler.
5 The files are extracted and installed. If you selected to configure the Enabler, the Enabler Configuration Utility will appear. Configure the options as desired and then click OK. You must close the Configuration Utility in order to complete the installation.
6 When installation is finished, the Complete screen appears. Click Finish.
