As mobile devices access applications at different times, the number of licenses that each server requires fluctuates. This can result in servers having more licenses assigned to them than they currently need.
Typically, unused licenses are removed from a server after one week. However, if you want to remove these licenses before that time, use the Reclaim button on the Licenses view. This feature removes all unused licenses from each server within your network.
To reclaim unused licenses:
1 From the Administrator, click Licenses.
2 Click Reclaim.
A dialog box asks you to confirm that you want to reclaim unused licenses.
3 Click Yes.
The License Manager reclaims all unused licenses and makes them available for redistribution.
The minimum number of licenses a server can have is set in the Startup Licenses option. For example, if a server is set to have 15 licenses at startup, using Reclaim leaves that server with 15 licenses even if it not currently using any.
