Use the Studio Client to connect to an application either that you have configured, or that has been discovered. AutoDiscovery allows the Studio Client to connect to applications without manually entering an IP address and port number of a server on the network. The AutoDiscovery process begins as soon as the Client is launched. During the initial search, the AutoDiscovered Hosts tab will be blank.
To connect to an application:
• From the Studio Client main screen, tap or click on the profile. The Client connects to the application.
To connect to an application using AutoDiscovery on Pocket PC:
• From the Client, tap the AutoDiscovered Hosts tab and select the desired profile.
To connect to an application using AutoDiscovery on any other OS:
1 Tap Host > AutoDiscovered Hosts.
2 Tap on the desired host profile.
To disconnect from an application:
• Tap Term > Disconnect. (In the Desktop Client, right-click the menu bar and click Client > Term > Disconnect.) This option is disabled if there are no active host sessions.
