Proxy server settings

The settings on the Host > Proxy Server tab are for using a Web proxy server with Web emulations.

Clients running on iOS devices cannot use these proxy server settings. To use a proxy server with iOS devices, you must configure the proxy server in the device settings.

•Use proxy server. Enables the use of a server within your defined host profile.

•Proxy server address. Specifies either the DNS name or IP address of the proxy server to be used.

•Proxy server port. Specifies the proxy server port to be used. The default is 8080, though port numbers 0 - 65535 are supported.

•Bypass for local addresses. Enables Velocity to bypass the proxy server to connect to the host server directly if it is on your local network.
