Importing and exporting a project
When you want to copy a project, use the import and export features. You can import and export an entire project or parts of it from the Velocity Console and integrate them into other projects as needed. For example, if you want to use the same keyboards with two different hosts, export the keyboards from one project, then create or open the other project and import the keyboards.
You cannot import a .wldep file. The file must be exported from the Console as a .zip file if you want to import it.
Starting in 2.1.41, the Velocity Console can import settings from a Wavelink Terminal Emulation (.wltna) file. A limited number of the settings that are supported by Velocity are imported. If there are multiple host profiles in the file, the last one is used.
To import a project, you should be on the Project list of the Velocity Console. Either drag and drop the file into the project list, or click Import and select the project type and file.
You can import and export the following elements of a host profile project:
•The entire project
•Screen captures
•Host profile
•Scripts
•Keyboards
•Formatting rules
•Theme
•Resources
For a form project, the entire project is exported and imported each time. Global settings, scan to config, or enhanced logging projects cannot be exported.
