Generating new certificates
If the Ivanti Neurons Proxy server certificates are compromised, you can use a built-in utility to regenerate the certificates. If you regenerate the certificates, the existing certificates will stop working and devices will not be able to access forms until the new certificates are distributed.
The installer and the certificate utility both create the certificates with all of the IP addresses that are being used by the computer when they run. If the IP address of the computer changes, the certificates may need to be regenerated to match the IP addresses.
Generating new certificates may have a significant impact on using forms in your environment. You should only generate new certificates if the existing certificates have been compromised or if the IP address of the server has changed.
After the new certificates are generated, follow the instructions for distributing certificates to devices: Distributing certificates.
To generate new certificates
1.Use the Windows File Explorer to navigate to
C:\Program Files\Wavelink\Ivanti Neurons Authentication Proxy
2.Double-click the file RegenerateCertificates.exe.
3.If you get a User Account Control prompt, select Yes.
4.A command line app appears and prompts you to regenerate the certificates. Type Yes.
The old certificates are deleted and new certificates are generated.
